The Executive Chairman of Odukpani Local Government Area Hon (Mrs.) Justina Edem yesterday at her defection ceremony called for synergy among party men and women in APC. She made this known shortly after her defection from the Peoples Democratic Party to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Mrs. Edem while calling for togetherness Expressed her unalloyed support and loyalty to Prof Ben Ayade who is the leader of the APC in the State, advised all former members of PDP who defect with her and the Chapter Executive to fall back to their unit and Wards for formal registration into the APC. She urged them to continually exhibit the bond of unity in APC.
“We had always been a family in Odukpani irrespective of difference in name of political parties and as a Chairman of Odukpani, i have been touching lives of people irrespective of political party because i see everyone first as Odukpani children and we would continue to give true governance to our beloved Local Government.
Our leader leads and we follow, APC is our party and we should make it great. As we go in, let’s see everyone as our brothers and sisters.
You are not a stranger to APC, everyone here is our brother and sister”.
Mrs. Edem left PDP to APC with the entire Executive of PDP at the Chapter and Ward levels, and her Local Government Executive.
She thanked the people who came out within a very short notice and called on those who could not make it to the event to go to their Ward and enroll as the Party has extended registration for members in the State.
